- Moving the inventory to 'damaged' allows you to keep track of the inventory in your warehouse without it allocating to orders
Capabilities:

- Mark the item as damaged at the point of receiving

The Steps: How to transfer already received inventory into a damaged location
Screen Path: WMS > Mobile > Transfer Operations > Damaged Item Transfer
To define inventory as damaged, go to Damaged Item Transfer screen.
Scan the location you are transferring from, as well as the damage location that is defined in your system.
Scan the barcode of the item you are marking as damaged, as well as the quantity. Select the quarantine and suitability reasons, and click the complete button.
Your inventory will now be assigned as damaged.
The Steps: How to directly receive inventory into a damaged location
Screen Path: WMS > Mobile > Receipt Operations > Mobile-Receipt
Pro Tip: It is recommended to receive your entire receipt order as usual, while physically putting the damaged product to the side until everything else is systemically received into the warehouse. This way, you will not need to back out of the mobile - receipt screen to change the receiving location to your damage location in the middle of your receiving process.
Scan your item and type the quantity that you want to move to your damage location. Then select the "Dmg" icon on the bottom of the screen.
Select the suitability and quarantine reasons, which will be useful when you are filtering your damaged inventory reports.
You can also add an image of the damaged product by clicking on the image icon:
When you select the 'next' arrow, you will be brought to the main item screen. Now, you can select "Conf" to move on to the next damaged item:
You can continue until all damaged items are located in the damage location.
Reporting:
There are two main options for looking at your damaged inventory records. The first one is through the normal inventory report. Note that this will not show you the image of the damaged product- you will need to look at the receipt report for that image.
Screen Path: WMS>Reports > Inventory Reports > Inventory Report
You are able to filter by your damage location, suitability reason, quarantine reason, etc.
This will pull up a report that lists the items and quantity within your damaged location:
The second report option is by viewing the receipt report- note, this will only show items that were received to a damage location. Not inventory that was later marked as damaged in the system.
Screen Path: WMS>Reports > Receipt Reports > Receipt Report
If you would like to see the image of the item, scroll to the left and click on the image icon:
