In Logiwa, to count the inventory, you need to perform a Count Operation.
Screen Path: WMS → Mobile → Count Operations → Instant Count
Firstly you need to scan the Inventory site, warehouse, and client. Here, the Client field deserves special attention; If All is selected, the count operation will affect all clients' inventory at the selected location that will be selected at the next step. Otherwise, if one of the clients is selected here, only this client's inventory will be affected during count operation.
Then, the location should be scanned in which you want to count inventory.
Also, by using the "one by one" toggle, instead of typing the quantity during counting, you can scan each barcode one by one.
NOTE: If you want to set this parameter as active as a default, please contact Logiwa support. They will make the setup for you.
On the following screen, you need to scan the Pallet (LP) that you want to count inventory, if there is no Pallet (LP) in the location you can skip this step by clicking the “No LP” button
On the next screen, you need to scan the item barcode that you want to count and press the ‘Conf’ button, page will refresh itself for every 'Conf' pressing. If you have selected All clients at the first screen, you need to count all the inventory in the specified location for all clients. However, if you have selected a single client on the first screen, you just need to count only this client's inventory. After you complete counting the inventory press the ‘Result’ button.
Below is an example of how the Result page looks like.
If you close the screen without using the buttons, the location will be locked, to unlock it you need to go to the locations page.
Actual LP Count: The number of LPs in the location
Actual Item Count: The number of items in the location
Lost LP: The LPs have not been counted.
Lost Qty: The quantity that has not been counted.
Excess Qty: The excessive quantity in the location
Complete Button: If you completed the count press this button and an administrator can review and approve the result.
Update Button: If you completed the count operation and you have the administrative rights you can update the quantity and the system will replace the quantity that you have provided with the quantity in the system.
Cancel Button: If you are not sure about the result you can press the ‘Cancel’ button.
Compare Results and Update Locations
If the user uses the "Complete" button on the Mobile - Instant Count screen, the inventories are not updated, only the instant count status is updated. You can find the completed Instant Counts on the Count Plan screen.
Search by choosing the count plan type as "Instant Count", add additional filters that you need and click the Search button.
On the result grid, you can find your instant count.
Click on the “Compare Results” button.
After the "compare results" button, you will see two different options, "Compare Result" and "Update Report".
If you use the "Compare Result" button, the "count plan compare" report is opened on the new tab.
In this report, you can see and compare the counted quantities and inventory quantity of the item and locations on a report.
In order to update the counted locations, go to the "Count Plan Update" screen.
Also, if you use the "Update Report" button on the "Count Plan" screen after clicking the "Compare Results" button, this screen will be opened automatically.
On the list, you’ll see all the counts that are counted but not yet updated – the supervisor then can see and select which ones they’d want to update the inventory with and either click on “Update All Locations” or “Update Selected Locations”.
After updating the locations, the inventories for the locations will be updated as counted inventory count and the location's lock will be removed.
