It is a smart business move to add the ASN or receipt order details into Logiwa prior to your container or truck arriving. When you define what items and quantities are expected on the receipt order, you are able to receive it against that receipt order. We offer to receive reports that easily highlight the SKUs that were under received or over received compared to the expected quantity.
- Create a manual receipt order within the Logiwa App
- Your clients' can upload their own receipt orders from their client account
- Mass receive the receipt order to the expected quantity
- Receive the items using mobile receipt and compare the actually received quantities to the expected quantities defined in the receipt order
- Upload documents to the receipt order, such as the signed document from the truck driver
1. How can I receive items automatically to a warehouse location other than the default receipt location?
2. How do I add pallet or case numbers to the receiving details if I want to mass receive the receipt order?

In Logiwa, ASN is defined as Receipt Order. You can create or upload your Receipt Order from the Receipt Order screen.
There are two options for creating your receipt order in Logiwa. Option one is a manual option through the Logiwa app. This option is recommended for receipt orders with less than 5 SKUs. If you are creating a receipt order with more than 5 SKUs, then it is recommended to use option two, which utilizes our excel import.
As mentioned above, in order to create a new Receipt Order (ASN), you need to press the new button.
Fill out all mandatory fields on the Receipt Order Header, indicated by an asterisk sign (*):
If you have a specific receipt order code you can fill the Code field. On the other hand, if you leave this field empty, the system automatically generates a code.
Some fields will be automatically populated, such as Site and Warehouse (if you only have one defined in Logiwa), and Status and Type.
To enter a new vendor, simply select the underlined header name:
Or select an existing vendor from the drop-down list:
After filling the necessary fields and pressing the orange save button, your receipt order header is created.
You will then see the following message box pop up:
If you are adding multiple SKUs to the receipt order, you can leave this toggle as is and select 'OK'. If you are only adding one item, you can toggle this off.
The next step is to add item details such as SKU and quantity information on the Receipt Order Detail tab, which is on the left side of the screen. This is not mandatory but recommended if you intend to compare what was expected on this receipt order versus what was actually received.
After filling the mandatory fields, press the Save button. To add another item detail, select the blue New icon. If you are finished and wish to see the list of items you have added, select the Display Records button:
The second option for creating receipt order in Logiwa is by using an excel import. You can download our excel template, which is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. You cannot use just any excel sheet, it must be an excel template that you download from this page or receive from your onboarding consultant.
Use this button to upload your receipt order/orders to the system as a batch. You can download an excel template, fill it out and import it to the system by this function. You will fill out the same information as you would using the manual new button. Make sure you fill out all necessary fields, such as warehouse, site, client, receipt order code, SKU, and expected quantity.
You can also reach more information about receiving inventory by clicking here.
- If you are getting this error on the screen "There are duplicate headers or data starting row is wrong". You should start with the 4. row on the excel template, Logiwa keeps the mandatory information on the first three rows.
You can access the Expected - Receipt Order Report as soon as you upload the receipt order to Logiwa. This report allows you to scan the report order code, so it is recommended that you print this report when the truck or container arrives at your warehouse. This will allow your workers to scan the receipt order code during the receiving process, as well as to verify the items on the truck versus what was expected on the truck.
Go into the Receipt Order Header and select the printer icon in the lower left-hand corner:
You will then see a report outlining the details of what is expected on the receipt order and what has been received so far:
As you receive the product, you will see the 'Previously Scanned QTY' increase if you refresh the report.
