Explanation
Location is an area inside the warehouse that has some specific address and functionality.
An example of the locations is a receiving location in which it has a unique address and contains the functionality of receiving inventory items.
Printing Location Labels
You can print labels for your existing locations. Go to the Search page and select the locations for which you want to print labels and click on Location Label. If you want to print labels for multiple locations, click on Multi Select first, then select the locations to print labels for.
If you want to print labels for a single location, click directly on the location, without clicking on Multi-Select.
Select the printer when the pop-up appears and your label will be printed.
Creating Locations
To create a new location, either click on the “New” button or download the Excel template, fill it in, and then import locations from Excel.
If you click on the “new” button, you will need to fill in the fields explained below.

Location
Location Information
Location Code* |
This is a mandatory field. Define the location’s name. |
Client |
Define a client for the location if you want to assign the location to a specific client. If you do so, a warning message will show up when the item which is being placed belongs to another client. |
Warehouse* |
This is a mandatory field. Select the warehouse where the location is present. |
Storage System* |
This is a mandatory field. Define the storage system that is used, such as B2B, Ramps, Shelves, or Pigeonholes. |
Picking Type* |
This is a mandatory field. Select between Stock and Picking if picking from the location is permitted. If not, Select No Picking. |
Location Group |
Select the group which your location belongs to. |
Display Member |
Define the sorted cell to which the location is related during cluster picking. |
Aisle Number* |
This is a mandatory field. Define the aisle of the location.

Define the column of the location. |
Level Code |
Define the level of the location. |
Other Information
Picking Priority |
Define a picking priority for the location. Locations will be displayed according to their priorities and picking will be performed in the same order as priorities. |
Put Away Priority |
Define a putaway priority for the location. Put away operation will be performed in the same order as these priorities. |
Locked |
Lock the location if you want to prevent it from being used in operations. |
Width |
Define the dimensions of the location. You can use any unit of measurement as long as you use the same within other data like items, shipping boxes, etc.. |

Business Station |
Toggle on if the location is a packing station, return station and so on. |
Cart / Trolley |
Toggle on if the location is a cart/trolley. |

Toggle on if the location is used for packing. |
Return |
Toggle on if the location is used for returns. |
Shipment |
Toggle on if the location is used for shipment. |
Damaged |
Toggle on if the location is for damaged items so that undamaged items cannot be placed into the location. |
Multi-Client |
Toggle on if the location is allowed to contain items of different clients. If selected false, the location is assigned to the client whose item is placed first, until the location is empty again. |
Multi Expire Date |
Toggle on if the location is allowed to contain items of different expiry dates. If selected false, it is allowed to contain items only with the same expiry date as the first item placed, until the location is empty again. |
Multi-Item |
Toggle on if the location is allowed to contain different items. If selected false, it is allowed to contain items only of the same type as the first item placed, until the location is empty again. |
Multi LOT |
Toggle on if the location is allowed to contain items with different lots. If selected false, it is allowed to contain items only of the same lot, until the location is empty again. |
Other Information
Open to Sales |
If selected true or not selected at all, items in the location can be sent to stores. If selected false, items cannot be used. |
Allow Damaged and Undamaged |
Toggle on if the location can contain both damaged and undamaged items. If selected false, it is allowed to contain only damaged or only undamaged items, depending on the first one placed. |
Replenishment Source |
Toggle on if it is a storage location. Storage locations are sources that feed picking locations. |
Replenishment Target |
Toggle on if it is a picking location. |
Picking Const
Define a picking constraint if you want to assign a specific SKU to the location. If you do so, only this SKU will be suggested for the location during put away.

Select the client who owns the item. |
Item |
Select the item that is to be assigned. |
Package Type |
Select a package type for the item such as unit or case. |
