A single item order is an order that contains just one item. To pack a single item order, your order must be picked and its job must be set as Packing.
Screen Path: WMS > Order Management > Order Packing
For more information about creating a warehouse job, click here.
When you fulfill these requirements, go to the Order Packing screen, on the first-page: scan the warehouse, client and location details then press Start Packing button.
For your single orders, you can select the Single Item Orders field as active. If you toggle this field, you only need to scan the item barcode on the following screen. The system finds the order of the relevant product in the start location automatically.
After clicking on the Start Packing button, on the next screen, scan the item barcode. Then, select the package type and indicate the package weight, ounce field, and click on the Pack button. Your order of item that you scanned in the Item field, will be packed.
In addition, the "Scan Job Code" is another filter on that page, If you have lots of orders in the same location, the "Scan Job Code" button will be helpful to filter your orders with a specific job code. When you click the "Scan Job Code", fill the job code field then click on the OK button. After that, you will see the scanned job code info on the "Other" tab and the button's name will be changed to "Clear Scan Job Code". After finishing your orders with the scanned job code, use this button in order to clear the job code filter. If you want to filter with another job code, you can scan the new job code again or you can continue packing without filtering with a job code.
Moreover, the fields on this screen (package type, package weight, ounce, etc.) may change according to your setup configurations.
The approved order's information will be filled on the "Order" tab such as "Item Quantity", "Total Weight", "Address / Type". On the "Total Weight" field, the total weight of the order is displayed. This calculation is made by using the item's package weight.
If you use a scale on your packing operation, you will see the "calculated weight" info. The "Calculated Weight" field shows the total weight of the shipping box. If this value ID different than the scale weight, this field will be red.
Also, from the buttons on the right, you can;
- go back to the previous page with the Back to Package button,
- print a label to the LP by using the Print LP Label button,
- Freeze Order in some cases (such as realizing that the product is damaged etc.) by using this button. When you use this button, the screen will ask for a location from the user and transfer the order to that location. Then, supervisors handle this order according to the case.
If you have faced a problem during the label generation, the error pop-up will appear on the screen. By using this pop-up, you can change the order address or package info.
After you finished the packing process, your label will be directly printed and you can view the order status from the order operations screen as packed.

NOTE: Different Packing Stations should have different Start Locations which means items should be picked to different locations. In the case where 1 location is used for multiple packing stations when the same item is scanned, the same order tried to be packed by different stations.
