If you get this error during the order cancellation process, it means that the order operation already started.
To be able to do this operation, the order should have no tasks or already shipped quantity.
How to Control?
In order to control the order status information, you should go to the Order Processing screen and check the "Order Status" information.
If the status different from "Entered, Approved or Check Inventory" this error message will be shown.
How to Solve?
If you want to cancel the order anyway and your order has no shipped quantity, you need to cancel order's tasks first.
For cancel tasks, you should go to Warehouse Task Processing screen and search with your order code. After searching the tasks, you should select all tasks and click the Cancel and Delete Task button.
After that, the order status will be changed as Approved. It means that you can cancel the order now.
