Logiwa supports creating carrier labels for some of the Dangerous/Hazardous product categories from DHL eCommerce, Endicia, EasyPost, FedEx, Stamps, and UPS.
Available dangerous product types are listed below:

What is a Dangerous/Hazardous Product?
Dangerous products can be classified according to the immediate physical and chemical effects on the environment or human being. For example; Explosion, Fire, Poisoning, etc...
Hazardous Products can be classified according to the immediate or long term health effects on the human being.
How to Manage Dangerous/Hazardous Products on Logiwa?
You can manage the Lithium Methal/Batteries, ORM-D, Hazardous Materials and Oil track dangerous products through Logiwa.
DHL eCommerce
Carrier labels can be generated for dangerous products/hazardous materials from DHL eCommerce shipping methods. Shipping for Hazardous Materials is only available Domestic “Ground” service
and to Canada via Parcel Direct (PLT) shipping method.
There are some Unacceptable DHL eCommerce shipments ways to ship dangerous goods. Unacceptable DHL eCommerce shipment ways are listed below:
- DHL eCommerce Solutions does not accept Lithium Cells and Batteries for international destinations.

EasyPost
Carrier labels can be generated for dangerous products/hazardous materials from EasyPost's API integration.
Endicia
Carrier labels can be generated for dangerous products/hazardous materials from Endicia shipping methods. Shipping for Hazardous Materials of Category B infectious substances must be sent only by First-Class Package International Service using Registered Mail service.

FedEx
- FedEx SameDay®, FedEx SameDay® City, and FedEx SameDay® Freight, except for dry ice and UN 3373 Biological Substance, Category B.
- FedEx International First®, except for dry ice.
- FedEx® International Next Flight.
- FedEx International Airport-to-AirportSM (see FedEx Services Available to Ship Dangerous Goods for exceptions).
- FedEx stamps. FedEx stamps can be used for dangerous goods that do not receive a dangerous good handling code or surcharge (see Special Handling Fees, "Dangerous goods that are not assessed a surcharge").
- Shipments rated with FedEx One Rate® pricing.

Stamps
UPS
- Ground Service level for Hazardous Materials, including Limited Quantity, combustible materials, and Lithium Batteries (Fully and Lightly Regulated), is not available for shipments to or from the following areas: Alaska; Hawaii; Puerto Rico; Avalon, CA; Catalina Island, CA; Beaver Island, MI; Mackinac Island, MI (winter only), The Bass Islands, OH; Kelley's Island, OH; and San Juan Islands, WA. All non-hazardous Ground service level packages to or from these locations must be suitable for carriage aboard aircraft.

Setup
The dangerous/hazardous products can be defined from the "Dangerous Item Type" field on the Item screen.
Screen Path: WMS-> Setup-> Item Setup-> Item
When the dangerous item type is defined as "Hazardous Materials", the "Hazmat Identifier Number" field is mandatory to fill as the item identifier number.
You can find the list for the,
- United Nations (UN) numbers for hazardous products.
- North American(NA) numbers for hazardous products.
Note: The UN numbers and NA numbers can be counted as the same through the shipping. Logiwa supports the NA numbers for hazardous products.

- Warehouse Job Processing
Also, even if the item is not defined as a dangerous item, getting a label for a dangerous product is available on the Order Operation screen from the Get Rate and Set Package Detail button. After the shipping option is selected, the dangerous item type can be defined.

When a dangerous product label is generated from FedEx, it is shown as a dangerous good on the label.
Hazardous Product Label Sample:

Before the pack danger item, you will receive a warning message about your dangerous items.
Error Handling
1. Name of Signatory is required ERROR
When you try to get a label for the hazardous product by using another FedEx shipment method except for Ground, the error message occurs. In order to solve the problem, do not forget that when the product is hazardous, the shipping option can be only FedEx Ground.
2. Hazmat identification numbers cannot be empty for hazardous materials.
In order to solve the problem, you should add a hazmat identification number from the Item screen.
