1) Total commodities weight is greater than package or shipment weight
- Weight was bigger than expected, please add a valuable weight.
2) "USPS_DELIVERY_CONFIRMATION" was added to the smart post special services
- In order to fix that error, please add or update the Hub id on the Carrier Management screen.
3) Invalid Customs Value
- In order to fix that error, Sales unit price and origin fields should be filled to ship the international orders on the item screen.
For more information about the Custom from requirements click the link.
4) Recipient/Third party account validation failed
- The third-party account number is not valid or verified by FedEx. In order to fix this error, you need to talk to FedEx about the third-party account number.
5) Duties payment type is not compatible with the destination country.
This error occurs when the Duties payer account selected during label creation is not set in the correct type or the country has not been defined.
When creating an international FedEx shipment, you can select which party pays the customs duties/taxes: Recipient, Sender, or Third Party, if they have a valid 5-digit US zip code connected to their account. International accounts cannot be billed. While it's not necessary for the recipient to have an account number, it should be provided if known.
- Recipient: When using Recipient as the payor of customs duties/taxes, there are optional fields for a FedEx account number and the account number’s postal code. If provided, that account will be billed instead of the recipient paying in cash
- Sender: You are responsible for paying customs duties/taxes. This is the default selection.
- Third-Party: When chosen, the FedEx account number and postal code must be specified, they are not optional for third-party payment.
