A serial number is a unique identifier assigned incrementally or sequentially to an item, to uniquely identify it.
Logiwa has control option your item and you can set your item serial number information under the item setup.
If you have Serial number conditions, you can set your item's serial numbers after set your receipt order and receiving location.
If your serial number parameter is the same above part after scan your item, the serial number scanning page will open.
Additional Information About Serial Number Import
Sometimes the user wants to use excel import for these items. If you want to set your serial number after receiving your item, just download serial number and fill the related field.
If you just set serial number as Mandatory, you can import your serial number like the below example.
Also, you can group your item with Lot and ExpireDate. If you define Lot number and expiration date are mandatory and skip during receipt is false you can fill additional fields.
- If the "lot number" and/or "expire date" fields are filled on the excel template, group the receipt item records by using the "item", "lot number" and/or "expire date" values
- If the "lot number" and "expire date" fields are empty on the excel template, group the receipt item records by using the "item" value (current version)
If the entered "lot number" or "expire date" is not received on the entered RO, Logiwa will throw an error message like "The entered lot number/expire date is not received for the RO. Please check the Receipt Report and use a lot number/ expire date which is already received. Serial Number: XXX".
