Cubic Pricing is an option to get cheaper rates for small and heavy packages for Endicia and Stamps carriers. By using the Cubic Pricing, you can only pay for the dimensions of the package and shipping distance for the outgoing shipments.
The required package details are listed below:
- The weight must be at most 20 pounds
- The dimensions must at most 18 inches
- The volume must at most 0.5 cubic feet
Also, shipping over 50,000 packages in a year is mandatory.
Stamps
Cubic Pricing is available only for Priority Mail shipping services with below package types:
- Large Envelope or Flat
- Package
- Large Package
- Oversized Package
Endicia
Cubic Pricing is available only for below shipping services:
- Priority Mail (PM)
- Priority Mail Express (PME)
What is the Cubic Feet?
Cubic Feet is calculated below formula:
Cubic Feet = Length x Width x Height / 1728
What is the Tier?
Tiers are categorized in 5 depends on the package cubic feet result.
Tier 1: Packages up to .10 cubic feet
Tier 2: Packages more than .10 and up to .20 cubic feet
Tier 3: Packages more than .20 and up to .30 cubic feet
Tier 4: Packages more than .30 and up to .40 cubic feet
Tier 5: Packages more than .40 and up to .50 cubic feet
Finally, the shipping cost can be found from the zone table depends on the cubic reet range and outgoing shipping zone for a package.

Set up
In order to get a rate by using Cubic Pricing option, the "Cubic Pricing" toggle should be enabled on the Carrier Management screen.
