Collect on Delivery is an option to pay for the goods on delivery rather than in advance. If the carrier cannot collect the payment on delivery, the package will be returned to the sender.
General Info
- C.O.D. is only available for domestic shipments.
- C.O.D. includes a surcharge that may increase the shipping rate.

The related fields such as "Collect on Delivery?", "COD Payment Type" and "C.O.D Amount" can be inserted as batches via "Import Shipment Order" or "Update Shipment Order Master" excel templates.
- Logiwa supports the C.O.D. option with FedEx and UPS.

FedEx
Collect on Delivery Payment Types are listed below for FedEx:
- Cash
- Guaranteed Funds
You may want to know,
- FedEx's C.O.D. payment amount may not exceed $25,000.
- FedEx has return labels for C.O.D. labels. In order to download the return labels, simply click the "Download Document" tab under the "Order Actions" on the Order Operations screen.
UPS
Collect on Delivery Payment Types are listed below for UPS:
- Check
- Cashier's Check or Money Order
You may want to know,

UPS does not support "Cash" as a payment option on C.O.D.
- UPS's C.O.D. payment amount may not exceed $50,000.
- UPS does not have return labels. If UPS cannot collect the payment after three attempts, the package will be returned.
1) Shipment Order
You can set the required COD fields from the below operations on the Shipment Order screen:
- Shipment Order Screen: Collect on Delivery toggle as enabled, C.O.D. Amount field and C.O.D. Payment Type field
- Insert Shipment Order Excel Sheets
- Update Shipment Order Master Excel Sheets
2) Order Operations
After an order is selected, the C.O.D. labels can be generated from the Print Label button.

When the "Collect on Delivery?" toggle is enabled, the C.O.D. Payment Type and C.O.D. Amount fields have become editable. You can simply choose the payment type and enter the amount for the order.
3) Job Processing
After a job batch is selected, the C.O.D. labels can be generated from the Batch Label button.

Error Handling
Collect on delivery option requires COD amount and COD payment type.
- COD amount should be greater than 0.
- COD amount and COD payment type are mandatory.
