You can manage two types of kit items on Logiwa.
One of them is the pre-assembled(produced) that you need to pick the finished product. The other one is the kit that you need to pick its components from different locations and ship to the customer.
If you manage the produced kit item process, you will need to assemble the components of the produced items before picking the produced products. You can create produced items when you need them and this process can be managed on Logiwa.
After moving all component items to a kitting location, you can start creating the kits by using the Mobile - Create Kit screen.
Screen Path: WMS → Mobile → Kit Operations → Create Kit
- Scan the Source Loc/ LP that includes the component items.
- The kit item info on the location will be listed separately. Scan the kit item's barcode that you can create based on the component items in the location and enter the quantity info.
- If the kit item's lot number/exp date/serial number properties are mandatory, the new tab will appear to enter the required fields.
After that, the kit item will be created automatically.
